I'm not sure I understand what you want to accomplish. Are you trying to navigate to a point by coordinates? Calculate the area within lat/lon points?
Hopefully with a little bit more clarification we will be able to assist you.

You can take the lat/long information and create a CVS file (in the proper format) and load the points as Custom POIs using Garmin's POI Loader.

Take a look at the getting started and faqs sections as well as the help file from POI Loader for detailed explanations.

The basic format of the data in the CSV will be as follows.

longitude1,latitude1,name1,description1(optional)
longitude2,latitude2,name2,description2(optional)
etc

lat/lon for timberland

i want the outline of the property on my gps and an arrow within the property lines that shows my position. thanks for your help

.

If you want the lines to show, then you would need to create a Custom Map.

Take a look at these sites. It can be done but takes some work.

Otherwise, if you are content to just see the corners, you could input each of them as a Waypoint.
