We are getting some much-needed rain in east central Iowa. It should help green up the grass burned out from the last couple years of drought.

got yet another flat tire. This one she noticed in the driveway, completely flat. I filled it back up to 44 (max per sidewall) and in 1 hour it lost 7 psi. Time for the spare, which is original, never been taken off. I had visions of it being stuck under the car (SUV with spare exposed underneath rear). Amazingly it came off. Time to go to Costco for a patch. From memory this is the 5th on this vehicle. maybe sabotage? Hard to say. Screw is in middle, in the groove. Last time was on edge near sidewall and tire needed to be replaced.

Monday morning can't get here fast enough.

7 on-calls so far, one today in church, one yesterday at the gym, on Wed. 2 simultaneously, and once cleared, 2 simultaneously after that. Imagine taking a 55' fishing boat out by oneself, then having 2 tunas hooked at the same time and trying to reel them in. Then, another 2. It's like that.

One couldn't pay me 1 mil/yr. for this (but it would be a start).

All kidding aside there's no way anybody could do this into retirement. We'll see.
