Garmin's POI Loader ("There is a problem with this GARMIN application")

I use a Garmin NUVI 2797. I'm familiar with, and have used POI Loader many times. I am unable to get any help from Garmin.
Just recently opening POI Loader, the message "There is a problem with this GARMIN application" appeared. I have tried removing POI Loader, and re downloading. Same message. Same result Would appreciate comment from anybody who may have experienced this.
Info needed
Is the error message on your computer or your GPS?
Mac or PC version?
Is the computer current with updates from Apple or Microsoft?
POI Loader version?
When does the error message appear: right after loading, connecting to linked GPS, when underway with new updates, or something else?
