City Navigator® North America NT installed POI's question...

Hi Everyone,

Just out of curiousity I pose the following question:

Navteq states that there are over 6 million points-of-interest included in their City Navigator® software. Does anyone know if there's a way to "see" the POI's that are installed along with the maps, on the City Navigator® North America NT Map Update 2008...

Thanks for your time.

Regards,

Tailspin

Sorry if I am asking a dumb question. Once you download new POI files and upload them, do they get incorporated into the existing 6million POI and can be searched. Sorry, could not find this in the FAQ.
Is there any basic instructions on this somewhere?
Also for anyone looking to purchase a new GPS unit, just bought a Garmin Nuvi 680 from PCNation - great service and got overnight shipping for $11!

Custom POIs separate from built in POIs

The custom POIs are separate from built in POIs. When you do a search, it looks through the built in POIs. If you go to EXTRAS, and then choose CUSTOM POIs, you will find all of your pois that you loaded. You can do a separate search in that category.
