Downloaded poi file, how do I rename.

I just downloaded my first POI file (beer stores, go figure). It came in but just as a list of addresses. How do I "name them" as beer stores, and how do I associate an icon with an entire list?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Sounds like the name field
Sounds like the name field in the file is blank. you can open the file in excel and add the names to it.
The picture file needs to have the same file name as the poi.

There should be 4 columns.
There should be 4 columns. The first one is for the long. and the second one is for the lat. The third is for the name and the fourth is for the address.
You need to put the bmp file in the same folder as the poi file and name it the same. I am talking about after you have loaded the poi file to the garmin.

This file has only three columns so I will add the fourth. After the csv file is on the Garmin, how do I upload the bmp. file?

If you click on the Icons link at the top of the page and scroll down that page you will find instructions on how to associate the icons with your Custom POI files.
