i see that some people are able to connect their lg vx8300 to the nuvi 660.....my nuvi is saying "no device found" when i try to connect it the normal way... i have put my phone in discovery mode and it still doesnt work.... can someone please help me do this....any help would be greatly appreciated

Try connecting it the other way. Have the phone "find" the nuvi.

Well, that phone isn't on the "official" compatibility list, but neither is mine and it connects just fine.
It's possible that the phone needs to have its Bluetooth upgrade, but first here's what I would try.
Go to both the nuvi and the phone and delete and disable all previous Bluetooth pairings.
Go to the nuvi and enable the Bluetooth.
Then go to the phone and select "Add new device"
Wait for the phone to find the nuvi. You may need to enter the 4 digit code (sometimes this isn't necessary).
If this doesn't work, I'd take both to the phone dealer and have them check the Bluetooth on the phone and see if you can connect then.
Otherwise, you might need to try a different phone.
