have a good week and stay safe...its so sad that so many people have died
but not as many as the numbers show. I was out hiking a couple of months ago and ran into a nurse. She has been in nursing for over 30 years and we started talking about the virus and how everything has changed. She stated that the numbers aren’t as high as they seem. She said that some people dying of other causes are being counted as a Covid death due to the fact that the hospitals are getting more money from the insurance companies or the government. Jack Nicklaus came out a few weeks ago and said that they had two family friends who had relatives who died of natural causes. The hospitals asked the family if they could contribute the cause of death to Covid. The families refused. Makes one wonder!

here it is december already, weather man says temps will be in the low 30's for the week, only had 1 person over for thanksgiving i wonder if christmas will be the same ? its an unhappy time now for us we have to have a family pet put down he's old has cancer deaf has cateracts is confused falls a lot and mermurs which says he is in pain took him to the vet and he said it was time . sure will be glad when 2020 is over !

Can feel the pain with you I had to put my sixteen yr old Sheltie down for the same reasons. Not easy. Still miss her

Lost my uncle to COVID
Yesterday I lost my last surviving uncle to COVID. He was 85 and living in a care facility that had an outbreak about a week ago. He is the first one in that facility to die from COVID. He was still mentally acute but had multiple health conditions. It was the damned COVID that finally claimed him though.
