Went to visit a couple of friends. They only allow one visitor at a time.

as soon as it stops raining to cut the grass and walmart for the weekly groceries during senior hours.

All I do is get cleaned up, fix my hair, do my makeup and put on my mask.
Then we go to Walmart for no contact pickup, take it home and put it away. Then we go to a fast food for pickup and take it home.
When we go to get my husbands blood work taken each week we have the same routine. I never get out of the car unless he is seeing the doctor, then I go in with him but this is only once every 8 weeks.
All the trouble of fixing up to never get out of the car. I guess it is a good thing to have something to get dressed up for nowadays.

Just a quick trip to Walmart.

this month. Trying to figure out how we're going to do Thanksgiving.

We are trying to work out the same thing.

We are old and my husband has cancer so we will be doing Thanksgiving alone (well almost if you don't count Google Duo).
Thanksgiving is always a big event with both our children, spouse and our 7 grandkids and our daughter-in-law's mother and her friend here at our house with us.
This year our children and grandchildren are doing Thanksgiving together at our son's house and setting a laptop on their kitchen counter and having Google Duo on. We will be watching them on my tablet prepare dinner and eat. They will be watching us prepare dinner and eating on their laptop. It's better than nothing.
Will miss all of them so. The grandkids love running and playing at our house. They love in the woods and making hideouts. I know they will miss us too.
Hopefully everyone will have the best Thanksgiving they can and give thanks for their families.
We will be giving thanks for our family and my husband still being here with us(their father and grandfather).

Drove up to SE Wisconsin to kayak the Fox River. The river was pretty quiet, just a few other paddlers and a couple of fishing boats. Did manage to find a DQ after taking out in Wilmot.

Drove around with a friend Saturday to find everything still closed everywhere. When will this end ...

Went "up the hill" to spend the weekend in a cabin. It was my wife's birthday and that's what she wanted to do. Rented a large cabin and our daughter, her husband, and our youngest grandchild stayed with us. Our granddaughter is just barely two years old and it was great because it snowed a bit and she had never seen snow.

(It's a bit odd... We have a granddaughter who is 2 and one who is 3. Our other grandchildren are 18, 20, and 24...)

No trips this weekend. Stayed home.

Airport

Took daughter down to next county south to get her learner's permit from the DPS. All of their other sites within a three hour radius have a three month wait.

We drove all the way to Fort Worth to get some Chick-fil-a and drove back home to eat it. About 30 mile round trip.
I don't know if I will ever be able to eat in again. Take home will probably be our norm in the future.

Drove to Saltair to visit buddy only have a few of them left.

I have been very busy.

Went and had the oi changed and got new vehicle sticker for the next year.

Went to different markets and pickup groceries and toilet tissue just in case.

To a lunch meeting at a local pub.

Looking forward to the day when it is safe to travel again.

Quick visit to Costco.
