Hello

It's me!

jobsite

had to go to construction site to look at and collect samples of something that is on material that we provided to figure out what it is and make sure it did not come from us.

used built in nav system on truck and honda/garmin really dropped the ball on that one. user interface is clunky, can't add waypoints or poi files per user manual, and just overall bleh. good thing i has apple play and android auto on my phones to use their nav system. looks like the zumo will swap between the bike and wife's car.

Cleveland, TN

Went from Morehead, NC to Cleveland, TN and returned. The good news, it was a boring and uneventful round trip.

Our 2019 Subaru has slightly better gas millage and a slightly larger gas tank than our prior Subaru. So we can now make the trip on only one refueling stop. As a pleasant surprise, one of our refueling stops was on a downhill slope, so our estimated range was an amazing 600 miles!!! Of course that did not last long.

Just Toooling around the Countryside

Have enjoyed taking drives along country roads. No mask needed, great scenery, and cheap fun.

BB&B just announced they are closing 200 stores. Maybe pre-bankruptcy?

...so we go down a couple of times a year. Love Roanoke. Thought about moving down there a few years back. Several years ago we drove over to Appomattox and then over to the DDay Memorial. Quite impressive. We were in Roanoke when Bush flew in to the airport enroute to speak at the dedication. Smaller plane. A 727 or 737; couldn’t really tell when it flew into the airport at Roanoke.
