Christmas Travel

Spent most of the morning picking up the mother in law and son Christmas morning. 35 miles each trip Glad there was no snow to drive in. Had a nice relaxing afternoon and evening Hope everyone had an enjoyable Christmas.

are we going to do about the ridiculous prices to see a sporting event? I mean $500-$700 per seat, let's get real when there are 82 games per season. lol

That's the stub hub price, face value is $281. It would be something to say $281 is not much.

Prices

Stop going to the sports events and prices will come down. Quite paying players millions of dollars for one or two years

I would have loved to have worked for just a few years and have millions instead of just a few thousand a year retirement.

New years Eve NYC Ball Drop

I have a friend that wants to go to Times square to see the ball drop on news years eve. I think he is crazy!

I work near Macys, which is also close to times square and this area is always busy.

Why do I think he is crazy to go see the ball drop?

1. You can enter and leave by (I believe) by only 2 locations

2. They heard you in like cattle.

3. You can not bring anything in with you (no backpacks, bottles, chairs, etc)

4. If you need to use the bathroom, you will have to go thu the crowd and leave, then you can not return

5. There will be no place to sit and the crowds are like standing in a sardine can!

I can think of more but why. that will keep me home in my living room watching the ball drop drinking my drink, staying warm on my chair eating chips and have the bathroom at my convenience!

What are your thought on this?
