Overdryve 7 RV How to delete a POI

OK...I installed/loaded several Custom POIs on my Overdryve 7 RV GPS from the POI Factory. I want to delete one of the custom POI files that I loaded. I can find no way to do that???? Do I have to reset the GPS to factory settings and then reload everything???? There has got to be a better way.

Good question

Let's hope you find an answer. If your device is like many others sold these day in which you get a QuickStart with the purchase but no full Owners Manual, maybe you can find some help with the manual. Good luck:

Search the Web

My only advice in this type of situation is to begin searching the Internet. Most likely you will find some comments on your device.

I never get lost, but I do explore new territory every now and then.

Remove ?

Maybe my thinking is wrong, but would you not just remove the particular custom POI from the file you loaded originally and then when you reload with POI loader just let POI loader delete the former custom POI's ?

The Overdryve 7 RV is an Rand McNally GPS. Does it use POIloader?

Agreber

I found this on the web

"Use Custom POIs to upload lists of your own locations to your RV GPS. Custom POIs may be destinations such as museums and scenic spots, or alert locations along your route for red light cameras and railroad crossings. Lists of custom POIs are available from third-party sources such as POI Factory: www.poi-factory.com. You can import custom POIs as .csv files. Click Add locations on the Rand McNally Dock™ and select POI for destinations or Alert POI for alert locations. "

The following may be helpful

What you need to do is try to find on the Overdryve 7 RV the folder containing the POI files. Then delete the one(s) you do not want.
