In danger of losing your windmill?

Maybe you can share the last place your GPS took you and if you encountered any problems, or if you used it to seek out special places to go (like Thai Food, ice cream shoppes, etc.).

Anything to keep your windmill alive.

This thread will be closed on the last day of the month and a new one will be opened.

Snow & ice Delay

Postponed a work trip 1 day due to snow in the region tomorrow topped off with a hefty layer of ice. Don't feel much like dealing with all that on a 5-6 hour trip.

I'll use the nuvi 1450lmt when I do go.

Newfoundland

Spent 2 weeks in Newfoundland and I did not have even one issue!

This says a lot for the maps in Garmin GPS as our friends had many issues in November of last year with their Tom Tom.

Work

Trip from northwest PA down to the bottom of WV. The 2020.10 maps do have the newest highway and old goat path between Logan and Gilbert. The old nuvi 1450LMT hanging in there strong doing a great job. Damn shame, I wanted to buy a new Drivesmart, ugh.

Accurate on the hotels I was searching in multiple locations also.

Went to Loretto Ky to visit Maker's Mark Bourbon distillery. Got a tour by William Samuels himself. Interesting history lesson of Makers Mark and bourbon in general. And got to dip my bottles.

For work to Warren, PA

In the very early morning darkness with blowing snow over the mountains through the National Forest. The old nuvi 1450LMT never missed a beat ... though my heart did a few times sliding. Only used the Rest Areas with Restrooms POI, as usual. There is a reason it is number 1.
