Express 6.10

Garmin began rolling out Garmin Express v6.10.0 today.

If you would like to update to the latest version, please visit the About page within the Settings of the Express application and select “Check for Updates to Express.”

Changelog for PC:

Improve syncing with our Garmin Mode USB devices, such as the Forerunner 305.
Corrected a string that was translated incorrectly in Czech.
We’ve made a change to help prevent users from accidentally activating Downloadable Content to the wrong device. It is now required that the device is connected to the computer.
Other minor bug fixes and improvements.

Changelog for Mac:

Fixed a crash specific to Mac hardware (appeared to be on iMac’s only) that could not update their OSX past 10.11.6.

Thank you for the heads up ...

... it successfully downloaded, although for some reason it was much slower than usual. Normally it takes my computer about 30 seconds to download a new Express, but this time it took about 5 minutes. Not sure if it was an issue on my end, Garmin's, or something else altogether, but whatever the case it's up and running fine now. Thanks again!

Cyber Monday was early and it is still here. All my programs and apps that use the internet were slow.

Garmin Express problem

I have a problem with Garmin Express and wonder if there is anyone here who can help. On my three computers, GE works perfectly on two. On one I get a message, "Sorry, we're having a problem communicating with our servers". The Garmin troubleshooting guide for this message does no good. If I revert that problem computer to GE ver. 6.7, it works fine. Any newer version fails. Any suggestions? Thank you.

What O/S is on the computer that won't use the latest version?

Windows 7. One other computer that runs GE fine is also Win 7.

Remove old version of Garmin Express from your computer using Revo or IObit uninstaller.Then download 6.10. at https://www.garmin.com/en-US/software/express .

Until a new map comes out where I need GE, I'll skip this version. Basically use iPad only here.

Run and done no problems win 10 /1803

Well I did not catch it and 6.1 used up over 6GB putting me over the 22GB limit.

I have no idea what it was doing I had no devices attached and clicked on do not run in background. It was running in background anyway I stopped it with msconfig.
