Topo Maps

3597, and I have downloaded and installed, (on a SD card) one Topo Map. The only was I can see it is if I uncheck all the other maps and leave the Topo checked in my maps.

Is there any other way to view the Topo without unchecking all the other maps?

Well ...

Probably not. Sounds like it has a low transparency so other maps hide it. If you install it using BaseCamp you can change the transparency but the standard Garmin map is set at 100% so you'd still have to disable that one.

Where there's a will ... there's a way ... DriveSmart51LMT-S, DriveSmart50LMT-D, Nuvi 2508LMT-D, 1490LMT, 1310, Montana 650T, Etrex 20

You Can Try

https://www.gpsfiledepot.com/ has a selection of topo overlay maps, a few of which I use on my 3597. They are free and legal to download. A donation is requested but not required. You might try experimenting to see if you can get one that works for your purposes.

That's where the map came

That's where the map came from, but the tutorials there for nevi use waaaaay out of date.

I used MapInstall to load it to the SD card. I may go back an give it a try with BaseCamp and see what happens. I think there isn't much that I can do, except disable the NA map while using the Topo map.

Thanks.
