Ad seen here.... Good Price? (for 2689LMT)

Just saw a garmin factory outlet ad here....

Brand New 2689LMT for $169.95 (just checked Free Shipping)
Is that a good price?

This way we'd both have identical GPS's.... and the Tired Old 660 could be retired....

A 2689LMT in both our cars that we love... and a Nuvi 660 with Lifetime Maps that we have had literally forever.... And a 2011 Ford Escape with Nav System that is totally ignored!

GPS City

GPS City has a Factory Refurb with 1-yr Garmin warranty and free shipping for $119.95. It's your choice of New vs. Factory Refurb.

My guess is that for these slightly older models, a Factory Refurb is likely to be brand new in a white box.

It's on it's way!!!

Wife agreed. It's on it's way!!! (Bought New: 1 yr. Warranty) and it comes with some sort of dash camera free -- Not that it was the final selling point)
I guess I'll become good copying and pasting the file for Saved Favorites!!!! and it will be good to not have to save & recall POI's from two different locations!!!

It doesn't appear it's a "dash camera free".
The ad shows it's a "free air vent mount" not a camera.
Since it was not a deciding factor in your purchase it doesn't matter.

I hope you enjoy it.

Nuvi 2460LMT 2 Units

Seems like a decent price

Seems like a decent price for a good Garmin.

You're right.. Vent...

You're right.. Vent... Wasn't a selling point.
This is to replace our old-as-the-hills 660, who's screen isn't as bright as it used to be.... During Bright Days, the screen is nearly un-read-able.... Now that I'm learning how to use 4Square, that was as much reason for Upgrade as screen was...

660 needed a separate POI File storage area on PC (660 used different POI files (mpeg3 & smaller Icons) than 2689 did), forcing greater work to keep them separate.
The plan (After Registration, Updating System and Map files, is to dump the Saved locations from my 2689 to PC and then load that file into Her new 2689.. and then load Same POI's as I'm using...
