Garmin Smartphone Link 2.6.0 now available

Is it for Apple? My Android with 2.5.1 does not show an update available...yet.

Google Play store is still showing 2.5.1

Downloaded for my iPhone 7 and everything went smoothly. Will test it out.

Just got notification of the IOS update. Went very fast.
The traffic cameras seem to load faster.

I look forward to the updates on this app- I use it all the time, and every new release seems to make it more stable... I use it constantly to find locations and restaurants, then send it to my Garmin with just a tap of a button.

Not sure what they are fixing because IOS service still disconnects and re-connects on my Nuvicam and iPhone. When I start my car and nuvicam, it still does not load smartlink app automatically. If app was running for 7-8 hours in the background on my phone, I still need to open it again to refresh so that it connects with nuvicam. So not sure what they have fixed so far because the basic issues still persist.
I have opened many tickets with them about these issues but no results.

I assume that your GPS does not have Foursquare (or what ever it is called) built in. I find this feature to transfer to GPS very useful but I need another function. When sitting at home I cannot change the "locale" of Foursquare to another city and pick out an eating place and send that. Anybody know how to do that?, Android by the way.

My NuviCam does has Foursquare. But Garmin could never make BT connection smooth on this device so far.
I don't think you can change Foursquare locals to a different city. It is designed to work in your local area only. You have to rely on builtin POIs in the unit for other cities.

After the recent Garmin Smartphone Link update, I ocassionally get Service Not authorized on the app which requires me to force close it on my iPhone 7 and reopen it. Very strange. I also have noticed for some time that there can be quite a delay before the information actually gets into the GPS (DriveSmart 70 series for me). I've noticed 2-3 minutes between the time I turn on the car, launch the app, and then actually see the traffic data. That's ridiculous as you need to make a decision on a route, a highway to take, exit to use, etc. quickly and a few minutes can make all the difference in the world on your selected route. Still needs work in my opinion!
