Setting locale of the GPS to a foreign country

Garmin has a FAQ stating that it's possible to get an audible alert when going over the speed limit when the unit is set to a European locale.

There's been talk in the past that setting the unit to Australia will give the user the ability in turning auto zoom on & off.
I'm curious & would like to know what others have discovered in feature changes by setting their GPS to a different locale.

Reset GPS to defaults, then after reboot select UK.
Made sure all settings were for American English.
The only negative with my 3597 is that temperature is displayed in Centigrade and I can not find any way to change it to Fahrenheit.

Canada uses Celcius
Can't comment on whether or not the unit will display the weather in Fahrenheit while set to Canada, but Canada does use Celsius / kilometers as they are on the metric system.
A quick search shows these countries use Fahrenheit: Bahamas, Belize, the Cayman Islands, Palau. Perhaps one of them will suit your needs.

No - set to Canada there is no beep beep beep when exceeding the speed limit. And nothing in the settings to enable this.
On the plus - I was able to display temperature in Fahrenheit.
Back to using UK.
