First let's recognize two of our many, often under-recognized, but deeply appreciated, POI file maintainers!
Donaldb530 is a busy, busy man, maintaining several large files, like Walmart, Sam's Clubs, And Super Walmart Centers In The United States & Canada and Flying J/Pilot Travel Plazas .
We appreciate the time he puts into keeping these files up-to-date, not only utilizing his own research, but incorporating and responding to the suggestions he receives from other POI Factory members. It’s a lot to keep up with, but he does it well!
Ajasaro
With over 9 years of POI file maintenance dedication, Ajasaro’s COY award is long overdue! A couple of his more notable files are National Parks, Monuments, Preserves & Historical Parks and Movie Filming Locations.
A funny story about the filming locations file; when I joined the community as a moderator, it took a few months for me to remember that when I received a website alert that read “Bastards,” it wasn’t Ajasaro violating the forum rules by being impolite or name calling. He was simply updating the movie location file which includes the movie titled “Inglorious Bastards”. :P

Canuk is one of the people who brings a smile to my face when I see his posts. I’ll be honest in saying it wasn’t that way at first, not because he was ever difficult, but because he was SO helpful and I had A LOT to learn. There wasn’t a handbook when I started so I need all the help I could get and fortunately Canuk was usually the first to send me a quick note reminding me to close a Chitchat thread or link another thread or correct a date.
In the five years I’ve fumbled my way around here I’ve grown to truly appreciate Canuk's dedication to our community and all he’s done and continues to do to help me and us thrive. I’m so very happy he was our top vote getter for 2016.
Please join me in showing appreciation for all three of our POI Factory, Contributors of the Year!
