In the above link, click the Accessories Tab, then Traffic Receivers.

Since these are traffic receivers as well as power cables, it implies to me that the 2595 does not have the traffic receiver built into the nuvi and therefore the TA power/traffic antenna cables that some Garmin devices use aren't applicable.

Just to be sure:

The only $15 cable I see is the USB cable (Part Number: 010-10723-15) which I think is meant for connecting a computer USB port to your 2595 and would be used most likely for map updates, Custom POIs, etc. I suppose it may be used from a vehicle's USB jack (if the vehicle even has a USB jack) to the nuvi but is not a traffic antenna or traffic receiver and even if it works to power a nuvi in a vehicle, no 'traffic' would be available.

The $9.00 MSRP antenna extension cable is an added antenna that is plugged into the middle of the cable of the GTM-60 power/traffic cable for a stronger signal. It is not part of a nuvi purchase and would always be an additional purchase.

Does this sound right? If not, can you explain how you get power from your vehicle to your nuvi 2595 and whether it now offers traffic (and whether receiving traffic is important to you). In the vehicle, do you power the nuvi from the vehicle's cigarette lighter socket or a USB port? Do you now have traffic?
