In danger of losing your windmill?
Maybe you can share the last place your GPS took you and if you encountered any problems, or if you used it to seek out special places to go (like Thai Food, ice cream shoppes, etc.).
Anything to keep your windmill alive.
This thread will be closed on the last day of the month and a new one will be opened.

Hurricane Matthew Was Approaching
Had to pack up quickly and travel west to avoid possible danger. GPS guided us to hotel 6 hours away - no issues. Even told us to detour due to heavy traffic ahead.

The Best Apple Dumpling
Took a back roads day trip on the Harley with a few friends to Farmers Inn, Sigel, PA for the best apple dumpling. Of course that was dessert. All the food was excellent, and cheap, as last trip there.
I used the onboard Harley BOOM GPS on my 2015 Limited. It's display is great but as with many onboard GPSs, it is not nearly as user friendly as my zumo or nuvis. I use the zumo 665 on my 2005 Road King and it is much easier to change routes and destinations on the fly.

I went to the famous Big Texan restaurant in Amarillo, and had a great 9 ounce steak dinner. I didn't try the 72 ounce version that is free if you can eat it all within 1 hour. The record is 7 minutes!

Our 2589 (Veronica) wanted to take us the easy way but I told it to detour when we got to the entrance to the interstate and it picked my 3rd choice, so I ignored it and took the road I knew was the start of a route through/over/around the mountains. Veronica quickly picked up the route I wanted, it was 10 miles closer and 20 minutes longer but it was a fun drive. My arms were tired from all the curves by the time we arrived. We took the interstate home
