Hi,
Just bought a refurbished 2360 and I was trying to get to the screen that shows the satellites that it is connected to. I know with my 1300 you just hold the left corner of the screen and it shows you but the 2360 is not doing that. Is that not an option on the 2360?
Thanks,
Dave
Satellite display
AFAIK, all Garmin nuvi models should have that function. You need to be on the main screen (showing Where To and View Map), then press and hold the icon showing the satellite strength bars in the upper left corner of the screen.
On an unrelated topic, be aware that the 23xx series unlike most other nuvis, does not support route import into the Trip Planer.

Thanks, I did that but
Thanks,
I did that but nothing happens?? I will keep trying. Since I bought it refurbished, I may have to recalibrate the screen or something. Not a big deal as I bought the 2360 as a second unit for a family member.
Thanks,
Dave
Satellites
As alanb suggests, but you have to hold or push for quite a few seconds, not just a momentary touch !

My nuvi 2460 may respond as the 2360 does. I find that about a 2-second press on the main screen's 5-satellite bars is all that's needed to bring up the satellite page. Given that, and assuming you've tried this several times without success, the thought of a screen recalibration sounds best as a first fix. If that fails, a hard reset wouldn't do any harm.
Good luck.
Very strange! if I change it
Very strange! if I change it to Portrait I can get to the screen. Just not in landscape. Anyone know how to do a screen calibration? I went through all the screens from holding down the battery symbol and did the accelerator calibration but that did not change anything. Something else I noticed was that in the settings menu there was no Garmin Lock feature. Kind of strange! I guess I will live with the way it is. Since I only paid $50 for it.
Thanks again for all your advice.

Odds are a recalibration will fix it:

The Garmin Lock is no longer offered on the newer models so all is well in that regard.
happy

Satellite Screen question for the Garmin 3597
When I press the satellite strength bars on the upper left corner of my screen for a few seconds I access a screen which shows the number of satellites my unit is actually connected to.
My question is why is it that at certain times the GPS shows me for example 10 satellites on two rows (one row on top & the second row underneath ) & that at other times the 10 same satellites are all on one row next to each other ?
9 times out of 10 when I've checked the satellites their always on one row but curious in knowing why at times their on two rows
