UPDATES

Why is it that when I hook up my DriveSmart 60 to Web updated that is states no updates available. When I use GE it shows and update. So, should I disregard Webupdater and start using GE?

Yes.

Garmin Express is the best choice for most updates. There are a couple of exceptions (like adding individual voices).

Is

Is WebUpdater even supported my Garmin any more. I know it seems to work alright in most cases but GE is the update vehicle of choice as far as Garmin is concerned.

I think Garmin support occasionally recommends WU. And for folks still using Windows XP, it's the only update option as far as I know.

UPDATES

I guess I will be using GE from now on for all my updates.

Thanks for the advice and clarification.

WU

I still use Web Updater since it lets me chose individual update options. Have never used GE for that.
