Why is it that when I hook up my DriveSmart 60 to Web updated that is states no updates available. When I use GE it shows and update. So, should I disregard Webupdater and start using GE?
Yes.
Garmin Express is the best choice for most updates. There are a couple of exceptions (like adding individual voices).

Is WebUpdater even supported my Garmin any more. I know it seems to work alright in most cases but GE is the update vehicle of choice as far as Garmin is concerned.

I think Garmin support occasionally recommends WU. And for folks still using Windows XP, it's the only update option as far as I know.

I still use Web Updater since it lets me chose individual update options. Have never used GE for that.
