In danger of losing your windmill?
Maybe you can share the last place your GPS took you and if you encountered any problems, or if you used it to seek out special places to go (like Thai Food, ice cream shoppes, etc.).
Anything to keep your windmill alive.

SC to NC to SC
Round trip Myrtle Beach SC to N Wilkesboro NC. Trip up was on a familiar route taken many times through High Point. Route back was a new one taking me around Charlotte and through Darlington.
3597 set for fastest route. Coming back, when turning off of the familiar route, recalc said I would save 10 minutes. A lot of road widening going on near Charlotte but the trip on early Sunday morning meant less traffic which probably led to fastest.
I would have gladly given up the 10 minutes as the homebound route took me through too many little back country roads. Arrived home precisely as calculated though.

Another Birthday trip for my wife and the New Goldsboro Bypass.
I know a strange title however we took a trip to Childress Vineyards to have a birthday lunch for my wife and daughter in law (birthdays are 2 days apart). Made some provisional plans for a trip to Ireland next year. When I came home I used a CN Europe SD card with Basecamp to look at routes and locations. Later I fired up Basecamp without the SD maps so it defaulted to the Global Map. This map shows the New Goldsboro Bypass. It doesn't quite match the track from my 3597 but is probably within the margin of error for the scale. EXPLAIN PLEASE!

VACATION
Just got back from a trip to Louisiana, visiting relatives and look into a few Casino. Went to the Golden Nugget in Lake Charles. Won't go there again, table games are too expense to play. $15 min.
Samantha guided us through Houston like a pro. Told us what lane to be in, when and where to turn. I am very please with this GPS. I had just bought the Garmin 60LMTHD. I was very please with the way it operated. Maneuvering the Houston traffic (which has one speed, FAST). This is the best GPS that I have ever own. The 6" screen was easy to see. Even my wife liked it.
