Outstanding performance as usual over 600 total miles, some quite remote in the park itself through every little nook and cranny. All the tiny little roads and main POI's were there on the map as we drove along. Even the traffic worked well.

We saved the location of the campground where we were staying and no matter how far away, lost or out on the edge of the earth we got on some little dirt back roads when were looking for fishing spots, it always guided us right back with no problems.

Fourth of July roadtrip!

We're off to the Black Hills

Took the Nuvi 66 toToronto last night with the family to an escape room - pretty fun

then strapped the recently recovered Nuvi 255 to the RoadGlide and went to North Bay for the day

great weather for the trip, over 500kms

Just a small trip to Brampton downtown..

It'll be a blast!

Day trip to visit relatives. Always lovely in gold country.

FL to NH, then spending some time in VA, including Foam Henge before returning.

I've stopped there before, really interesting place, and the guy who built it is quite a character!

Don't know yet, but I got here early for a change.

Drove to Death Valley today from Pahrump, NV. There were very heavy rains there Thursday that knocked out the power to everything (Visitor center, lodges and Shoshone reservation - and that's about all that gets power). Power came back today. Had to go way out of the way to get to Badwater due to a washed out road. Badwater is the lowest point in North America (282 Ft. below sea level).

My 3597 was spot on the location at all times. Even the altitude display was stable and accurate. No bouncing around at all - even while sitting still.

My wife's Samsung Galaxy S7 lost everything almost the whole time we were in the valley. It had no clue as to where we were located. Not a single cell tower visible in the southern part of DV, where we were.

BTW - Temp at Badwater today was 120º F. That's the hottest outside temp I have ever experienced!!!!!

On to Henderson, NV tomorrow.

Sunday drive to Windsor, Sarnia and return.

We have seen the original, will have to plan a trip some day to see the replica.

Drove to Bershires, MA and back.

where the big fireworks will be tonight. At the Cousins and not familiar with the local parks. Little Nuvi worked great so no we are anxiously waiting to go to the big show tonight. Happy 4th of July!

NE TN to NW OH. Made the trip before but it is nice to have the feedback on our progress.

The Rand McNally 7720 seems to be much better than in the past. I think they have improved their software and/or maps. We have been using it to get around in Oklahoma City and are pleased. The Garmin has fallen behind in our estimation. Big monitor screen is a plus for older eyes.

My recommendation is to stay out of Oklahoma in late June. It is 95 every day with no mercy. Won't be here in the summer again.

Been ages since I was there. Nice time.

Drove to Seattle and took a cruise to Alaska. In one word, it was Fantastic! Drove back though Yellowstone and then across the Bear Tooth Highway. Great drive. One of the prettiest drives I have ever taken. Beats the Going to the Sun Road in Glacier National Park. Noticed some improvements on the latest maps updates. Traffic seemed to be better and the unit was constantly showing road construction, narrow lanes, etc. Overall, this last map update seemed to include several improvements. Had a great trip, put 5700 miles on the rental companies car (which probably didn't make them happy), but we had a fantastic trip.

Took the Nuvi 66 for a trip out to Thornbury to the Cheese Gallery for some smoked PEI Cheddar and some Roaring 40 Blue

trip within 100 miles. I have made this trip at least once a year for the last 46 years. (Dang, Have I been ???? that long?) Just checking out any new addons to the trip. All seems OK.

Planning trip to visit a number of memorials in Oklahoma and Arkansas in the next few weeks. If time permits may even venture into Missouri's Ozark area.
