In danger of losing your windmill?
Maybe you can share the last place your GPS took you and if you encountered any problems, or if you used it to seek out special places to go (like Thai Food, ice cream shoppes, etc.).
Anything to keep your windmill alive.

After we got our 660 back
After we got our 660 back from a loan, we took it to a short jaunt to Chicagoland...
We knew where we were going for the most part, yet we were staying in a location that we were un-familiar with...
POI's came through like a champ, getting us fed, and to CVS/Walgreens when we forgot some things, and the pre-programming of destinations made rush hour traffic more bare-able.
A 2689LMT in both our cars that we love... and a Nuvi 660 with Lifetime Maps that we have had literally forever.... And a 2011 Ford Escape with Nav System that is totally ignored!
To eat!
Took a 2+hr drive to Chef and The Farmer (in Kinston NC), always worth the trip.
Over the River and Through the woods
to another Christmas dinner that couldn't be beat.

I used to live near Shenandoah National Park many years ago. Hiked all the trails and did a lot of camping in the Park. Great memories.

Disney trip
Took a trip from Miami to Disney World. It always takes me there as usual. I just wish that they would make the turnpike as one segment then i map out the trip on the Nuvi. For some reason it will only give you the distance for the next segment from toll plaza to toll plaza. Not from when i get on to when i get off

Tour profile states you have a 3597. You can set trip data to be displayed on the right side of the screen that will show the total miles remaining which also means the entire trip distance when starting.

I have not left Long Island in over two years. Between work and family issues, I have been stuck on this rocky sand bar. Granted we are pretty much a self-contained society but there are times it is nice to go to the mainland.

I did discover that when a business is off the main drag (e.g., in a strip mall location), it is much better to save the location of the business at where you turn into the business drive rather than at the actual business. The reason is that if the parking lot is too far from the main road, the GPS may think a back road is the only access to the business rather than a main road.
