I live in Tempe, AZ and work in Scottsdale, AZ. I've seen some discussion here about the speed camera's in use in Scottsdale. My question is this: If we know the actual speed it takes to set off a camera should we post that speed or the speed limit of the road?
For example, In Scottsdale on the 101 fwy the city has stated that you must be going 76mph to set off the cam, the speed limit is 65mph (I drive this stretch of road everyday at 73mph and have yet to see a flash).
The speed limit on this stretch of the Loop 101 freeway is 65 mph, and the equipment has been set to photograph drivers when they are moving at 76 mph or faster.
I would like to have just
I would like to have just the posted speed limit in the file so that others can make their own choice on what speed they want to travel at.
