Looking for Dashcam that has GPS built in for POI's

Looking to buy a dashcam with GPS built in.

Has anyone come across a unit that you can load the red light & Speed cameras into?

I'm looking for the same

I'm looking for the same thing. I'm considering modifying a mobile phone to serve as a dedicated GPS and dashcam. But to be effective, the camera lens needs to be on the opposite side that that camera is on an iPhone, so if the phone is used as a GPS and is mounted lengthwise, the camera is toward the upper-center of the dashboard. Don't think anyone make a phone like that.

Why did Garmin put the camera on the wrong side?

Take a look at the unit.

Take a look at the unit. Looking out the windshield from the driver's side, the camera is on the driver's left-hand side.

I'd think they'd want the camera on the driver's right-hand side, more towards the center of the vehicle.

I just purchased the Garmin Nuvicam

I've been looking at dash cams for a while. Was about to spend $269 on DOD Tech cam but then took a look at the Nuvicam.

It has all the features of a camera I would want with good video quality and since it's built into a GPS that's one less thing to have mounted on the window and one less thing to plug in.

Best Buy has it on sale right now for $379 but I was able to get them to match Amazons price of $353.

Since I was in the market for a larger sized GPS and a dash cam this was the perfect item for me and I've been pleased with it so far.
