Hi guys I was playing about with my nuvi 265w last night and like a fool I hit cut instead of copy...
I was trying to copy the contents of the internal memory to use as a back up.
When I realised my mistake I went to copy them all back but even though it appeared empty it said it was full?
I then formatted the drive (fat32) and put them all back on again.
Now when I turn it on its stuck in a boot-loop..... Displays garmin, flashes white then reboots.
So far...
I've downloaded some stuff from garmin to repair broken firmware, update.exe and another file. I drag the other file to update and the 'win7 administrator' thing appears, I click ok and nothing happens.
I select USB and choose my device from the list, the. It says your firmware is upto date.
Is the administrator thing blocking the drag and drop action.
