new Extra POI user question?

OK, newbie question alert!!
I just started using Extra POI editor and so far it looks really great. I've manged to get just about everything to work the way I want it... except...

When I'm creating a new POI (or editing an existing one for that matter) if I try to use the "grab" to get the coordinates from the map display, it says I have to move the marker first, but when I try to move it, I can't!! If I hover over the map display it says, "Right click for more options", but if I right click nothing happens! I can zoom in and out and I can move the map display just like normal, only thing wrong is the right click.

What am I doing wrong?

Any help appreciated,
Gord

Welcome

I'd welcome you as a new user but see that you've been around for 3 years 22 weeks. But I still welcome you today as a "first poster."

Does this help?

EPE has an issue because of Google maps.

Turbocc (the author) has returned and is graciously working on it. There are 3 to 4 posts on it. Give it time.

Also new

I think all you have to do is move the map with the finger on the marker. The EPOIE is being worked on.

Where's the delete post button.

Sadly, the software that's used here doesn't offer a delete button--and editing a post you send can only be done before someone replies to your message.

Since I've just replied to you, you can't even edit your message. If you do catch a need to edit or delete a post you make, do it quickly. To "delete" a reply you've made, the best you can do is change the Subject and Comment to something like a "." or say "duplicate post."

Thanks

Thanks for the welcome (yes, I've been lurking for a while) and the info...
WOW, you mean for once it's not something I did wrong?!

I'm going to mark this day on the calendar wink

We are your friends, not your spouse. You are not automatically wrong here. Misinformed, misdirected, misguided maybe.

LOL

Thanks, I won't tell my spouse!! wink
It's not that I think I'm automatically wrong, it just seems to be the norm... lol

Coming...

This bug is next on my plate. Grabbing coords should not be difficult to fix.

Looking forward to

another helpful fix, thanks again Turboccc.

Coords grab

Problem fixed! I have not released anything yet. It is 12:35 AM. This is going to hurt tomorrow morning when my alarm will ring.
