"Stutter" in directions

question My Garmin has a "stutter" or pause that occurs in the middle of giving directions. Never had this problem before.......Is it something that goes with the 2014.2 ver. of the maps? Really became annoying while trying to navigate unknown areas in San Antonio yesterday confused

CPU is getting to many things going at the same time

Sounds like your CPU has too many things going at the same time. Try turning back the map detail setting to free up some processor time for the audio commands.

I also suggest..

clearing the trip log. If that doesn't help, try a hard reset.

Different Voice File?

Does the stutter occur with different voice files, Jack, Jill etc? You could also try reloading the voice file you're presently using. Might be worth a try.
