Poi file, Alpine navigator?

A friend of mine asked me if it is possible to put a poi file into a Alpine navigator, i told her i can take a look into it.

Is there anybody who has any expirence of an Alpine navigator and can give me some hints?
Like what ending the file need, or if it is possible at all or just point me in a direction were i can find some iformation about alpine.

For me i never seen one or even heard about a alpine.

best regards Jocke

I had never heard of an Alpine Navigator myself, but I guessed (correctly) that it is a product from the company that has been selling in-vehicle stereo systems for many years. Their web site is at:

http://www.alpine-usa.com/

I took a quick look there and could find nothing on their web site which indicated that you can install your own POI files, but I may have missed something and I don't have the free time at the moment to dig deeply into the subject. You may want to look on their web site yourself, and possibly contact their product support if you find nothing on the web.
