In danger of losing your windmill?
Maybe you can share with us the last place your GPS took you and if you encountered any problems, or if you use it to seek out special places to go (like Thai Food, ice cream shoppes, etc.).
Anything to keep your windmill alive.

shopping. Doing some antique shopping this weekend so we will really need the Nuvi to find the stores!
New struts and a variety of other items - came in at just under $1K. Other than that, the trip was uneventful
Chit. And chat.
Just checking in.
Will be doing our HOG group annual Covered Bridge Ride Sunday.
I flew to DB for a business meeting. While I didn't need to rent a car, I used Google maps to find a restaurant near my hotel that I could walk to.
Made trips but to known places. Procrastinating about updating to 2014.20
took a trip to Utah, nothing exciting...

It been a few weeks since I last posted. I guess I had better make a post today!
Just cruisin the back roads

Government Shutdown Day-7
Boynton Beach to Miami.
I am grounded. My new gps had to be returned to be fixed. I could not use the gps without being connected to a power source. The battery did not hold charge. I am waiting for its the return.
To a SMU football game. SMU-41....Rutger-42.
I went from N. Arizona to Chama New Mexico and got onto the Chama train. Great trip, and thank you GPS
Late Friday afternoon we were on I-270, looping around St Louis. My 1450 Traffic was accurate. The display would change from yellow to red, depending if we were slow and go, or stop and go. I ignored suggestions for alternate routing.
Still here. Looks like it'll be the weekend until Wednesday. Now if can only get out of work.....
Took a weekend trip to Omaha last weekend. I was just thinking that all the POIs I've taken advantage of and the customization knowledge I learned for my Nuvi(and fun looks I get from family when they see those changes in action) since I discovered this site has really added to the fun of trips like that.
Ann Arbor this saturday for a fantastic early fall football game.
Unfortunately, the built in POI has the wrong address and was about 2 miles off.
My son and I drove down to Tombstone this last Saturday for the annual Corvette get together. The weather was perfect with not a cloud in the sky and 75 degrees.
My Garmin 3790LMT performed flawlessly as usual.
Northern New England, Maine
...for the winter. Our annual trip. Love getting out of the cold.
Getting ready to travel from California to Nevada without Interstate Highway.
GPS helped me deal with the usual Sunday evening traffic perils.
To a friend's restaurant in another city. Food was terrible, though.
A nice college town.
Busch Stadium - 9/28/13
Cubs vs. Cards
There was a backup ahead several miles long along I57, my Nuvi announced it was changing my route (without my permission). First time it's done that. Usually you have to hit the re-route icon. I'm glad I followed her instructions, it was a smooth trip down to central Illinois along back roads.
around town to the antique shops. Made finding the places very easy.
Took a combo Amtrak and car trip to Alexandria, Va area .
Used my trusty companion "jack" on both the train and in the rental car.
Gov't "shutdown" put a few roadblocks in the way of our touring but did manage
to "walk" Arlington National Cemetery (sobering experience), take a Potomac Riverboat cruise to view the monuments but couldn't land at Georgetown. Visited Mount Vernon and it's reopened Grist Mill & Distillery (neat) and tour the National Masonic site .
With "Jack" mounted on the window of the train got lots of questions & comments from other passengers !
Whenever I'm in the car, the GPS is on.
