We did a short trip and took Veronica (2460) along last week but decided to stay off the roads for Labor Day this year. We were camping in a sheep pasture at a 4 day bluegrass festival. Not exactly Woodstock but a lot of fun.

Wow! The fire in Yosemite is threatening 1000 year old trees and they're fighting to save them. I hope they succeed. Prayers for all involved in fighting these fires and those whose homes are in jeopardy.
