Garmin Smartphone Link... Traffic incidents issues in Toronto area?

I am experiencing Traffic incidents issues on Smartphone Connect in Toronto area. When I check Traffic App on Nuvi 3597, the map shows traffic. When I tap on the left top corner and select Incidents, it shows one or two incidents only. One on DVP and the other some times in Niagara Falls..

Due to this I don't get traffic warning on my route.
Anyone else having same issue in Toronto area with Smartphone Link app? I will appreciate your feedback.

Again this weekend, all

Again this weekend, all incidents disappeared except one in Niagara Falls and DVP. It is strange map shows traffic but under Incidents it is not showing much. During week days I start seeing incidents but they disappeared yesterday.
I have sent email to Garmin but so far no response except the auto response.

???

Maybe its just myself, but what is it you're having problems with?
The Garmin or your cell phone?
If it's your smartphone how is that Garmin's problem?
Just wondering?

weekdays only?

I believe I heard it mentioned that traffic data is not broadcast/provided at it's regular weekday frequency during the weekend in many parts of Canada. Maybe this is what the issue is?

Yes, I am talking about

Yes, I am talking about traffic data through smartphone link. It is not a smartphone issue but Garmin issue.

PS: My main reason of posting this issue here was to get feed back from other Canadians, who are using Smartphone app. But looks like I am the only one.
I am waiting for Garmin's answer on this issue.

check iNRIX

INRIX provides the traffic info for Garmin, so it's probably their information they are accessing. Have you loaded the INRIX app for your phone and compared what it shows to what you see on the Garmin?

Yes, traffic is provided by

Yes, traffic is provided by Navteq to Garmin. Here is the funny thing as I already mentioned in my first post.. When I go to APP and then tap on TRAFFIC icon on my Garmin 3597, MAP shows traffic on highways. But while in TRAFFIC MAP, when I tap on INCIDENTS on the top left side, it shows only one or two far away slow traffic or construction incidents. All the traffic I see on the map is not reflected in incidents.

Because there are no incidents showing up, when I am driving through the heavy traffic are, I don't get traffic warning...though map shows traffic. I wish I could post screenshots to make my point clear.

Perhaps it would help if you were to define what you consider constitutes an incident. Slow traffic is most often due to volume rather than something blocking the travel lanes which would be considered an incident. Traffic along major roads near here often comes to a crawl as the volume increases and the delays are compounded by merges and exits. There are no accidents or stalled/broken down vehicles, it's simply volume.

Yes, I fully agree with you

Yes, I fully agree with you with traffic incident description. I have noticed that on weekend, incidents disappear. For example, on Saturday there was big Carabana parade down on Lakeshore road, in Toronto. Lakeshore road was closed. Since no incidents were coming to Garmin, traffic was not popping up but map was showing heavy traffic on lakeshore. Road closures, accidents etc. all disappear.
