I was playing around with BaseCamp trying my best to get use to using it and it continues to be a very slow work in progress. Okay I have a trip that I have made for a number of years to Florida so I decided to use that for a start. Okay it comes up with a route that I have taken and is the fastest time.
Now Trip Planner gives you a starting time of 9:00am as a departure time and I have found no way to change it. Over the years I have left at almost any hour of the day or night but it is always earlier than 9:00am.
Is there any way to change the starting time of a trip in Trip Planner?

Yes, you can set the start time of your trip. If your talking about changing it in Basecamp just double click the starting/first entry in the DAY 1 section of the "Trip Listing" on the left hand side of the screen.
That should expand the entry and an up and down arrow with a clock icon should appear on the right hand side of the expanded entry. Click on the clock icon and a window will open that will let you change the departure time for that entry. You can repeat this for any or all "destinations" in your Trip.
You can also change the departure time after you've transferred the Trip from Basecamp to the Nuvi. Just call up the Trip in the Trip Planner App. and tap the first entry for Day 1. On the screen that will open, tap Departure Time and change the date and/or time to what ever you want it to be.
