I know that there has been quite a bit of discussion in the past about suction cup mounts, bean bag mounts, and more recently the air vent mount. My old Chevrolet Silverado still has a Vehicle Specific Mount http://panavise.com/index.html?pageID=1&id1=30&startat=1&--w... from when I was using it to hold a pair of side-by-side ClipCaddy Holders http://panavise.com/index.html?pageID=1&page=full&--eqskudat... I am no longer using the Clip Caddy in there, but I am considering getting a http://panavise.com/index.html?pageID=1&page=full&--eqskudat... AMPS to 17mm Garmin ball adapter. Anyway, I am just wondering if anybody here has used this and, if so, how well it works out. I might not normally even go to the trouble, but since the Vehicle Specific Mount is already there, I am thinking it would be pretty simply to just add the Garmin Ball adapter. Anyway, for those that use this sort of mount, how well does it work out for you and, in retrospect, would you use that type of mount again in the future?
