trouble importing mapsource data into basecamp

Have been using MapSource for years and now I need to upgrade to BaseCamp but I am having trouble importing my data from Mapsource. Basecamp does not recognize my files no matter what format I save them to in Mapsource.

Save the Mapsource files as
Save the Mapsource files as .gpx. Basecamp will import them just fine. At least it does for me.

Do you mean that it will not import a gdb file? I've had absolutely no problem.
You can also copy/paste routes, tracks and waypoints from Mapsource into Basecamp.
I thought I remembered
I thought I remembered having problems at one time with .gdb files but just tried it again and it works fine. Might have it confused with something else.

No luck with the import,
No luck with the import, copy and paste for me.
Importing files
You may want to post on the Garmin forum (from Basecamp, go to Help > Garmin Forums > Forums > then select Basecamp). One of the developers is real good at responding to issues with Basecamp.
