Max Waypoints = 1000

My Nuvi 2495 says that it has a max number of Waypoints/favorites/locations: set at 1000. Does this mean that I can only upload 1000 POI's? Is there anyway around that? I noticed a campsite file well over 1000 line items...

POI you add to the Favorites, the max for your unit is 1000
POI in a file are a different story, you are limited to the number of POI files by the storage capacity of your unit or the size of the SD card you have.

Yes. Custom POIs and Favorites are two different things.
Custom POIs are limited only by the space available on the unit for storage.
