Traffic Receivers, 2460lmt/1490t

I have a 1490t and a 2460lmt.The traffic receivers look like there compatible with each other and Garmin site says they are. GTM 25 (1490t) and GTM35 (2460lmt).Has anyone used either with either unit. Actually the GMT 35 looks more like 36 but I'm sure it's my eyes or Garmin typo.

Actually the Garmin site shows the GTM35 as a replacement receiver for the 1490T, my own 2460 shows GTM35 (not 36. It is possible your eyes are not deceiving you and you have a GTM36. This may be a newer GTM35 but doesn't appear on the site.

I know they made two models of the GTM20, both marked as such, but one was longer and had lights on it, the other was shorter and no lights. The original longer one was prone to breakage.

Either way, as long as the connector plug is the same you can use them on either unit and receive FM Traffic.
