Tennessee to Florida

Driving from Tennessee to Florida and back June 23rd or so with spouse. Bringing back 6 yo grandson and his cousin. Cousin is semi-out-of-control precocious boy-crazy 13 yo girl who was living with relatives because of relationship with her mother. Bringing her back to her mother.
Promises to be interesting.

Also got factory tours, biggest stuff, interstate exits, speed traps, and our favorite restaurants along the way.

How I made the File..
Got these POI's for every state from here to there. According to the descriptions, there seems to be quite a bit of overlap.
Also got factory tours, biggest stuff, interstate exits, speed traps, and our favorite restaurants along the way.
How I created the State files.. I took the full "All State" file and ran Turbo's Extra Poi Editor and used his tool to create ind. states. What it did was take all States file and created States files. Should not be any dups in each of the files. My recomendation is to just use the 1 ALL state file, btw I just cleaned it up for any dups and such, still working on the states but that wont be for a few more days..

These kind of trips sometimes are less scare than you think. Have a mp3 with music, a laptop with 2 or 3 movies and when you look for them sometimes they fall a sleep. Load your gps with good pois and good luck and a safe trip.

My wife and grandson each have a movie CD player, and probably the girl too. I've got lots of POI's loaded.
Just need to make sure I've got enough places for the power cords.
I've made many a long distance trip. I've developed the ability to zone passengers out.
