i have a Montana 650t, went to Colorado, Manitou Springs , left unit in car, side windows open, and sunsheild visor up, it was a balmy 72 degrees, we were gone about 3 hours, came back and powered up unit but it wasn't responding to my touch, took a closer look and in the lower right corner had a crack????? what the heck. i have only used this unit in the car hasn't even been on a trail yet...... soooo when i got back to Missouri, called Garmin, talked to a great lady i sent in photos and was told give her a few days to see what they could do... low and behold was told they will replace my unit.... free of charge, this is one reason i stay with Garmin.... but i have owned several handheld units, have dropped them, floated them, have even had my 60csx drop over 100 feet with no real damage... it is just odd to me that in the car, on a fairly cool day the screen cracked... me thinks just a sub-par unit i was the lucky one to get it
