Android Garmin Nuvi

I know we have had some Linux based Garmin Nuvis in the past, will we ever see an Android based Garmin Nuvi?

Does the Garminfone count?

Does the Garminfone count? Both the A10 and A50 run a customized version of Android.

Put the Garmin/Navigon app on your android... and you have as close to a Nuvi experience you'll ever get on a phone.

Android Garmin Nuvi

I saw such poor reviews posted about Navigon that I have always shied away. Is it as bad as people are saying or is it actually pretty decent?

Navigon's poor reviews are mostly related to going to a different model for providing map updates and nothing to do with performance. Navigon on an iPhone or iPad are as close to the end-user experience I've been accustomed to with my Nuvi765T. I'm a satisfied Navigon user.

red light and speed camera POIs

Can we still add our custom POIs for the Red light and speed camera to the Navcom $39 app ?

How do map updates work with Navcom?

Howard

$32

Somehow I'm just too cheap to buy a $32 app in order to test it out...
