Disney cruise passenger Katy McCaffrey had her iPhone stolen by an employee while she was on a Disney Wonder Cruise. The employee's name was apparently Nelson. How does she know? Because she can read his name tag in the photos he continued to snap using her iPhone,
do they have the pics available? love to see them.
Here's the Facebook stream of the pics from the stolen iPhone:
And I expect there is going to be a Disney Cast Member soon to be in the job-hunt line for that little stunt...
...Oh yeah, now I remember, "Stupid is as stupid does".
Another candidate for the birth control poster child
Class act... Always smart criminals.
call folks like that retarded. That would be an offense to the developmentally handicapped folks....
I hope they fire him. It's too un-Disney like to make him walk the plank, even though they are at sea
be that this was the guy's first contact with the iPhone and was not aware of the "i...'s" associated with the phone (iCloud etc).
Some folks just aren't too bright.
My nephew is a police officer. He was off-duty walking in his neighborhood one evening when a man came up to him with a knife out and said, "Give me your wallet!" My nephew drew his pistol and said, "No, you give me yours!" The man ran away. Where did he go? To the nearest police station to report the attempted robbery, where he was arrested!
How about some jail time too. Isn't it just like shop-lifting?
We are too easy on our criminals. That's why there is so much crime these days.
Wow, just when you think you have seen it all. Another crawled out of the gene pool too early!
to use iCloud to sync data to/from other devices. I typically wouldn't think about using iCloud - at all - because I don't want the same songs, data, whatever on my different devices. After reading this though - yeah, I can see a reason. Thanks for the post - good thing to think about.
Good for him!
My manager at work just told me about his buddy that works at the police department in his town calling him. He was burglarized and among the stolen items was a digital camera. The criminals took pictures of themselves during the burglary. When the police picked them up for something else, the camera in their possession was proven to be one of the reported missing items, and then seeing the pictures of them in the house, sort of help show they were at the scene and get a conviction.
Things like this are funny. 1st, don't do bad tings. 2nd, if you insist on doing bad things, don't photograph and post it!!
This should show up on Jay Leno's dumbest criminals segment pretty soon!
His actions are a bad example for the entertainment business. He lowers the trust factor between the customers and the staff. Hopefully he will be severely punished by both Disney and the legal system.
Did she get her phone back. What happened to Nelson?
A friend who is a deputy told me that they rely on criminals being stupid. He said the smart ones usually don't get caught.
Do I really want to look at these pictures... something tells me no...
Make him listen to "It's a Small World After All" for 24 hours straight!
