Thanks for the link Motorcycle Mama. I have requested the change with Navteq and will be patiently waiting for the change. 10 years huh. lol.

I have found the Pre-loaded POIs to be a bit unreliable to the point that I no longer use them. Either the place is no longer open for business, the business isn't included, or in the wrong location altogether. I will either download the POIs from here, or enter in the address manually. I don't bother to report any that are incorrect (pre-loaded), but will report any that are incorrect from here as they can be fixed quickly.

I've found that a lot of the pre-loaded POI's in my Nuvi are outdated. Quite a few of the businesses that are not longer in business or have changed names.

There is a nice frozen custard stand about 2 miles out of town. I told the owner that the Preloaded GPS POI shows him right in the middle of town. He laughed and told me that was his home address where he gets all the mail delivered. He always has people on his little back street with GPSs in the windshield looking around or knocking on his door.

We do find mistakes with our POIs ... BUT ... we have the ability to correct them, and do. I do believe I'd probably forget about it after 10 years.
