Nuvi 350 battery charging

How long does it take to charge Nuvi 350? I charged it about 12 hours and the charge lightning bolt on the battery sign did not go away. Isn't supposed to go away when it is charged? Or is 12 hours! not enough for first time charge?

when you're charging your battery, press the power button to power it off. It uses a lot of power if it's on and it will lengthen the charge time. I did the same thing when I charged mine the first time. When it's off it will say something like, charging mode...

Charging the battery
On my 650 I recall reading that the battery should charge in about 4 hours. I usually charge my battery via the USB port for about thet time, and it seems to work fine afterwards.
There is a sentance in the owners manual stating that to calibrate the battery indicator, run the battery down to nothing, then fully charge it without interruption. Might try that procedure if its the same for your unit.
