Lifetime Map Update Prices for the Holidays

Last year at about this point the prices for the Lifetime Map Update dropped considerably. Most recent price on Amazon is $63.99 and the electronic version is $64.99. Has anyone seen any lower?

Keep this thread updated with the lowest prices. Last year they went to $59.99 and stuck for awhile but then dropped down to $49.99.

.

I see you have the 1490T, as do I. Considering the internal memory size and map update and Junction View limitation issues, I wouldn't pay a dime to Garmin for map updates. Anyway, as in other threads, the prices approach a point at which it is better to just buy a new unit than to pay for updates to the maps. BTW, this is NOT meant to demean your post or the idea(s) behind it. JMHO.

Hmm

I've also got a 1490T that I upgraded to lifetime maps last year.
I was going to upgrade to LM for my spare/backup 260 that we occasionally lend to my mother in law.

I see Amazon marketplace has LM for under $64. I've got a price alert set up for $50, but I'm reconsidering even that as too expensive now, especially for a unit that is almost never used. Kinda like my 1490T will be once I pick up its replacement.
