I agree, contact Jim at sharc.net. I sent my 660 to him several months ago and he fixed it right up. It's still working fine.

Jim is busy so a full schedule is not uncommon.

I want to thank Jim for the quick repair on my nuvi 660, Jim repair schedule was full and worked me in
because I'm a member PIO Factory. I had called Garmin
about the antenna problem and was told that my nuvi 660 was obsolete, I purchase this GPS 4 years ago and paid $700.00, but now it's like new.

Hi Jim, went to your website but there was no left hand menu displayed. I have a Nuvi 670 that displays the Lost Satellite message after about 1/2 hours use. I would like to get this fixed as I have a life time maps subscription for this unit. I also have a 3790 LMT that I'm using now, so no big hurry but would like to get it fixed.

Trying to get in touch with Jim to get my Garmin NUVI 680 Fixed, The website said they are full and are not taking repairs. I use the 680 dailey and the antenna will not lock onto satellites. Can anyone help me out?

I have nothing but good to say about Jim @ Sharcnet. I was able to get in touch with him and sent my NUVI to him and he was able to have it all back within a week. Good jon Jim and Thank you.

Yup! That's the same experience I had with Jim when he replaced the touchscreen on my 660.

how much repairs cost, but with say a 1350LMT barely being over $100, sometimes it's worth it to upgrade. The 2350LMT is nothing to write home to mother about, but it's like 2010 v. 1999 when compared to the 660....

One of the main reasons I bought a 660, back when, was for the mp3 player which I use all the time. Since newer nuvis no longer have an mp3 player, it was more important for me to have it repaired.

Yes, Jim seems to be quite busy. I am waiting to hear from him concerning shipping instructions for my Nuvi 660. He has been very responsive to my e-mails and put much effort into trying to solve my GPS problem(s) without me having to send the unit to him. I hate the wait, however I know that Jim being so busy is a good thing in the end.

I have seen numerous posts on different sites complementing his work ethic and integrity. So, if you are reading this Jim, keep up the good work.

Hi Jim,
How do I send my garmin to you for repair?
I did change the battery and in so doing, I disconnected the ribbon cable
by lifting the latch at the connection. I have put the ribbon back into the
connector and latched it but, it isn't reading.
I just found this site and I would like to send it to you for a check up.
