I just got a new computer with Windows 7. I just tried to update the POI's on the 3590 but it has a pop-up window that says no devices were found and also that I should set the interface option to Garmin or host. The question is: How do I do that? Any help would be appreciated.
Never mind.
I figured it out.

Garmin communicator
Start by checking for Garmin Communicator, and downloading it if needed:
http://software.garmin.com/en-US/gcp.html
Then download POI Loader:

What was it?
I figured it out.
Scan and fix
Do not let Windows 7 "Scan and Fix" your nuvi. Always click "NO."

Mass Storage Transfer
I figured it out.
I had been using XP and it always allowed me to update my POI files. Upon getting a new computer with Windows 7, it would not let me update. I changed the GPS to a Mass Storage Device and viola'--everything works the way it is supposed to.
