how to get poi on a garminfone

Is there an Extras?
Not sure about garminfones, but this is worth a try:
Tap WhereTo/Extras/CustomPOIs
and yes, you need to tap the Custom POIs for your loaded POI locations to appear. Good luck. You probably need to tap the down arrow (to scroll to the next page) after tapping WhereTo to find the Extras icon to tap.
That's the way my nuvi 295W works and I believe a 295W is essentially a nuvifone minus the 'fone.'
