Garmin nuvi 2350lmt - Anti-Glare Sun Shade clip-on Glare Shield

I have recently upgraded from a Garmin 1350LMT to a 2350LMT, the 1350LMT was sun light readable, but the 2350LMT has poor screen display in direct sunlight and the LCD brightness is at 100%.I came across the Anti-Glare Sun Shade Clip-on Glare Shield, do these really work? The GPS is mounted on the windshield.

I have used one

I had one on my Mio C320 and they work great. The only problem is that they can get quiet cumbersome .. always a pain to carry them.
